General Questions

Where are your shops located?

Geno's Auto Body has shops in Antioch, Brentwood, and Concord, California. Visit our Locations page for addresses, directions, and the booking link for each shop.

How can I contact the right location?

Call Antioch at 925-706-2143, Brentwood at 925-626-7644, or Concord at 925-375-1181. Tell the team which location you plan to visit so your estimate or repair questions reach the right shop.

What are your business hours?

Antioch and Brentwood are open Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. Concord is open Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM–4:30 PM. Saturdays are by appointment only, and all three shops are closed Sunday. Contact your location to confirm holiday hours or a Saturday visit.

How do I schedule an appointment?

Call your preferred Geno's Auto Body location or use its booking link on our Locations page. Share your vehicle information and a brief description of the damage when arranging your visit.

Do you accept walk-ins?

Yes. Geno's Auto Body accepts walk-ins as well as appointments. Calling ahead helps the shop plan time for your estimate; Saturday visits require an appointment.

What happens during the estimate process?

We inspect the damage and prepare an estimate covering the proposed parts and labor. Our estimator explains the next steps, and repairs begin after the necessary authorization. See Our Process for the full sequence.

Can I choose your shop for an insurance repair?

Tell your insurer that you would like Geno's Auto Body to handle the repair. Our team can discuss the estimate with your insurer and help you understand the next steps. Your insurer determines your policy coverage and claim decisions.

Which insurance companies do you work with?

We accept repair work from all insurance providers. Give our estimator your claim information so we can coordinate the repair estimate and any additional damage findings with your insurer.

Can I pay for a repair without filing an insurance claim?

Yes. Our repair process supports self-pay customers as well as insurance repairs. Ask for an estimate so you can review the proposed work before authorizing it.

Can you help arrange a rental vehicle?

Yes. Geno's Auto Body works with rental companies and can help arrange a rental car. Availability, charges, and any insurance reimbursement should be confirmed before making arrangements.

How long will my repair take?

Timing depends on the damage, parts availability, required repair procedures, and any insurance approvals. Your estimator will discuss a target completion date and contact you if new findings change the repair plan.

Why can an estimate change after disassembly?

Removing damaged parts can reveal damage that was not visible at the initial inspection. We prepare a supplement, update you about the additional work and timing, and obtain the required authorization before continuing.

Is your repair work guaranteed?

Geno's Auto Body backs qualifying repairs with a lifetime warranty for as long as you own the vehicle. Ask your estimator to explain the written coverage, exclusions, and the process for returning with a concern.

What should I bring or do before my repair appointment?

Bring your vehicle and any estimate or claim information you already have, and confirm the shop has your current contact details. Remove personal belongings from the areas being repaired, and mention aftermarket parts, warning lights, or new symptoms.

What happens when my vehicle is ready?

We contact you to schedule pickup. Your estimator reviews the completed work, answers your questions, and discusses the applicable warranty. Ask about care instructions for newly refinished areas before leaving.

Service Questions

Do you repair damaged body panels and fenders?

Yes. Geno's Auto Body repairs body panels and fenders, including damaged sheet metal, panel fit, and refinishing. An inspection determines whether repair or replacement is appropriate.

How do you decide whether a fender needs replacement?

We consider the extent and location of the damage, the panel material, attachment points, and the appropriate repair method. Our estimate explains the recommended approach before work begins.

What kinds of bumper damage do you handle?

We assess bumper scratches, scrapes, cracks, and loose mounting. Geno's Auto Body checks the visible cover and related fit or damage concerns before recommending repair or replacement.

Should I mention parking sensors or accessories before bumper work?

Yes. Tell our estimator about parking sensors, cameras, aftermarket parts, and any alerts that appeared after the impact. These details help us plan the inspection and identify any additional procedures the vehicle may need.

Do you offer chip, scrape, and scratch repairs?

Yes. Geno's Auto Body offers chip and scrape repair as well as scratch removal. We inspect the depth of the damage and discuss polishing, touch-up, or refinishing where appropriate.

Can every scratch be polished out?

No. Polishing may improve damage limited to the clear coat, but deeper scratches can require paint repair. Our team checks the affected layers before recommending a method.

What does your collision repair service include?

Geno's Auto Body assesses visible and hidden collision damage and plans the necessary body, structural, paint, and related component work. The estimate identifies the repairs needed for your particular vehicle.

How do you keep me informed during collision repairs?

Our estimator explains the repair plan and provides updates when findings affect the work or completion date. Make sure the shop has your current phone number and preferred contact details.

Can I discuss custom bodywork or paint with your team?

Yes. Geno's Auto Body offers custom body and paint work. Bring your ideas and vehicle details so we can assess the condition, discuss the finish you want, and establish the actual scope before making commitments.

Why is body preparation part of a paint project?

Panel fit, dents, corrosion, and the condition of the existing finish can affect the final appearance. We evaluate the surface and explain any preparation or body repairs needed before refinishing.

Do you offer both traditional and paintless dent repair?

Yes. Geno's Auto Body assesses whether a dent is suitable for paintless repair or needs conventional bodywork and refinishing. The paint condition, dent shape, and access to the panel help determine the method.

What affects the estimate for dent repair?

Size, depth, location, paint damage, and access behind the panel all matter. We inspect the vehicle before explaining the repair approach and expected timing.

What is paintless dent repair?

Paintless dent repair reshapes suitable dents without sanding or repainting the affected panel. Geno's Auto Body uses this approach when the paint condition, metal shape, and access allow it.

Can paintless dent repair preserve my original finish?

Yes, when the dent qualifies. PDR is intended to retain the existing finish; cracked paint, severe creases, or stretched metal may require another repair method. We confirm suitability during inspection.

Will the repaired paint match the rest of my vehicle?

Geno's Auto Body uses computerized paint matching and refinishing techniques to work toward a consistent appearance. Existing paint condition, metallic or pearl finishes, and blending needs are considered during the assessment.

What paint problems can you assess?

We assess chips, scratches, scuffs, oxidation, and peeling clear coat. Our team checks the damaged layers and any corrosion before recommending preparation and refinishing.

Can frame damage be repaired after a collision?

Some structural damage can be repaired, but repairability depends on the vehicle and the type and severity of damage. Geno's Auto Body evaluates measurements and the appropriate procedures before recommending frame straightening or component replacement.

What is the difference between frame alignment and unibody repair?

Frame alignment addresses structural geometry. Unibody repair addresses damage to a vehicle whose body and structure form an integrated assembly. We inspect the vehicle to determine which structural work is appropriate.

Do you offer full frame straightening?

Yes. Geno's Auto Body offers full frame straightening along with frame alignment and unibody repair. Measurement and inspection determine the work required; a symptom alone cannot establish the repair plan.
